# How to change the dates of a challenge ?

Adjusting the start or end dates of a challenge allows you to extend a competition, postpone a launch, or adapt the schedule to fit your teams' activity.

### Step 1: Access the Challenge module

* Go to the ****Performance**** tab in the main menu.
* Click on the ****Challenge**** section.

### Step 2: Select and edit the challenge

* From the list, click on the ****challenge**** whose dates you wish to change.
* Click on the ****pencil icon**** to enter edit mode.

### Step 3: Access settings

* Go to the ****Basic settings**** section.
* Scroll down to the ****Administration**** part.

### Step 4: Change dates and save

* You will find the ****Start date**** and ****End date**** fields. Make the necessary adjustments.
* Click on ****Save**** to permanently confirm your changes.
