# All about indicators

An indicator on Incenteev is THE way to measure and represent your results.

You want your salespeople to always have their turnover, their objectives or their number of appointments in their pocket.

Nothing could be easier, create an indicator!

On Incenteev, ****an indicator must be a number****.

It has two views:

* A main view in the form of a map
* A more detailed secondary view, accessible by clicking on the main view.

You can find histograms, progress curves, distributions, etc.

****An indicator can be based on****

* A dataset, i.e. your results imported on the platform
* A formula between several indicators
* An indicator updated manually
* The results of the quizzes on the Incenteev platform
* The reward of a challenge on Incenteev
* A ratio between several indicators
* The activity on Incenteev (the addition of the profile picture, the number of messages or likes, etc.)

****Periodicity****

An indicator can be periodic. That is to say, you can choose how the results will be displayed at regular time intervals or tailored to your needs.

****Modifying an indicator****

After creating an indicator, you can modify it.
