# How to add or edit a workspace administrator?

Administrators will have control over editing challenges. They will also be automatically added as members of the challenge workspace.If you want to assign administrator(s) to a ****workspace**** on the platform, here are the steps for each type of workspace:

## Dashboards:

To create a new Dashboard, please follow the steps in this article:[How to create a dashboard?](https://www.google.com/search?q=https://help.incenteev.com/fr/articles/5204015-comment-creer-un-tableau-de-bord)

Once the dashboard(s) are created, it is time to assign Administrators.  
Steps to assign administrators to a dashboard workspace:

* Go to the "****Dashboard****" workspace
* Click on your dashboard
* Click on the "****Edit dashboard****" button (symbolized by a ****pencil icon**** on the right side of your screen)
* In basic settings, click on the "****Administrator****" field
* Type the names of the individuals in the search bar, then click on them when they appear
* Finally, click on "****Save****"****P.S.****: This process must be performed on all dashboard workspaces linked to the dashboard you wish to modify (even _****hidden****_ ones, to allow members to access detailed points).

## Challenges:

To create a new Challenge, please follow the steps in the dedicated article: How to create a Challenge?  
Once the challenge(s) are created, it is time to assign Administrators.Steps to assign administrators to a challenge workspace:

* Click on Challenge
* Click on the "****Edit challenge****" button (symbolized by a ****pencil icon**** on the right side of your screen)
* In basic settings, click on the "****Administrator****" field
* Type the names of the individuals in the search bar, then click on them when they appear
* Finally, click on "****Save****"

⚠️ P.S.: This process must be performed on all challenge workspaces created for the Challenge you want to modify (even _****hidden****_ ones, to allow members to access detailed points).

## Discussion Group:

Once the discussion group(s) are created, it is time to assign Administrators.  
Steps to assign administrators to a discussion group:

* Go to "****Home****"
* Click on "****Group List****"
* Click on your group
* Click on the "****Edit Discussion Group****" button (symbolized by a ****pencil icon**** on the right side of your screen)
* In basic settings, click on the "****Administrators****" field
* Type the names of the individuals in the search bar, then click on them when they appear
* Finally, click on "****Save****"

## Quizzes:

To create a new quiz collection, please follow the steps in this article:[How to create a quiz collection?](https://www.google.com/search?q=https://help.incenteev.com/fr/articles/803603-comment-creer-une-collection-de-quiz)

Once the quiz collection is created, it is time to assign administrators.Steps to assign administrators to a quiz workspace:

* Go to "****Quiz****"
* Click on "****Quiz Collection****"
* Click on the Quiz Collection you want to modify
* Click on the "****Edit Quiz Collection****" button (symbolized by a ****pencil icon**** on the right side of your screen)
* In basic settings, click on the "****Administrators****" field
* Type the names of the individuals in the search bar, then click on them when they appear
* Finally, click on "****Save****"If you do not specify an administrator, only platform super-administrators will be able to edit the quiz collection.

⚠️ P.S.: This process must be performed on all quiz workspaces created for the quiz collection you want to modify (even _****hidden****_ ones).
